Some entrepreneurs still underestimate the power of building a brand on YouTube.

Most of them rely on paid advertising like Google Ads to reach their customers but what if there's a place where you can interact with your customers? Turn them into loyal ones and raging fans waiting for your new product releases?

Let's see how YouTube can achieve that for you before we dive into the steps on how you can easily create your YouTube channel as an entrepreneur and start building your presence.

Social media marketing has proven to be one of the most effective platforms in making a business visible online. Using YouTube is an effective form of marketing because it is one of the most commonly used social media platforms.

It is currently the most popular social media platform in the US with 81% penetration, according to a recent report from Pew Research Center followed by Facebook that is used by 69% of Americans. Some key statistics about YouTube that you may not know:

1. YouTube has 2.3 billion users worldwide.
2. 79 percent of Internet users have their own YouTube account.
3. YouTube viewers watch over a billion hours of video on the platform every day and generate billions of views. (YouTube, 2021)
4. YouTube is localized in more than 100 countries and is available in 80 languages. (YouTube, 2021)
5. Everyday people watch one billion hours of video on YouTube.
6. 62 percent of businesses use YouTube as a channel to post video content.

10. 90 percent of US digital video viewers use YouTube, the most popular channel for digital video consumption.

With all this statistics, it is evident that many people visit and view videos from YouTube day by day.

As an entrepreneur, you just have to find good content for your business and for sure, there will be people who will be interested in what your company has to offer.

YouTube is used in several countries, which can be advantageous to your company since you do not have to limit your business in your locality.

Your business becomes limitless as it reaches different people around the world. YouTube also helps you to be found in Google. Google is widely used and is still the top search engine, and being suggested by Google matters a lot. In reality, people always trust what they see in Google. If you plan out good content for your channel, more people will take the time to view your videos.

Good thing YouTube is not making things hard for entrepreneurs like you. Here are the simple steps on how to create your own Brand YouTube account. A brand account is made explicitly for brands and businesses. It can be managed by different people using their separate Google accounts.

  1. Create a brand new Gmail Account. It is recommended that you create a brand new one and only use this Gmail account as your YouTube channel's login credentials for security purposes. Don't use it for other purpose like registering to websites or receiving emails.

Just follow the steps. The name and email address won’t be publicly linked to your brand, so don’t worry about keeping those
on message.

2. Create your Brand YouTube Channel. Since you already have a new Gmail account, you just need to open a new tab of YouTube to
access your YouTube account. You are still using a personal YouTube account so in order to create a brand channel, click your account logo
on the top right then click for "Settings".

A YouTube Brand Account is a business account you can activate and manage through your personal channel. This Brand Account gives
your business a YouTube presence of its own with your company's unique name, branding, and content. Additionally, YouTube allows you
to add channel managers to the account.

That's it! You just have created your Brand YouTube Channel.
